Make a donation

The server “Balamb” is free and will stay free: no advertising, nothing to buy in the game. It does run on a machine that costs money (hosting, electricity, domain name). Donations are only used to pay for the server and keep it online.

A donation is voluntary, of any amount you like, and gives no advantage in the game (no gils, no cards): all players stay on an equal footing. Thank you to everyone who contributes!

Where donations go

Yearly bills are spread over the months (divided by 12), and the amounts received are net of PayPal's fee. If a month receives more than its goal, the surplus is carried over to the following months: it is only used to pay for the server. If a month is not covered, the administrator pays the difference and the next month's gauge starts again from zero.
